Pressed (Beacon Hill)
After spending majority of the day walking around in negative degree weather and trekking through the streets of Beacon Hill, Boston in the middle of a snow storm, I was definitely feeling drained and under the weather. On my way to the train station I came across this vegan restaurant, Pressed. It’s a counter-serve spot that offers cold-pressed juices, superfood shots and shakes, superfood bowls, and other health-conscious vegan dishes. There aren’t a lot of seats available inside, so this restaurant isn’t meant to accommodate a large seated crowd. It is mainly for grabbing food on the go.
I wasn’t that hungry so I ordered the all green juice in hopes that the nutrients would give me an energy boost. All of the juices and smoothies are freshly made right in front of you. My juice was delicious, refreshing and hydrating. It definitely gave me the pick-me-up that I needed. From what I could see, the food items are premade. So if you prefer your food to be made-to-order, this might not be the spot for you. But I would recommend Pressed for their juices and shakes.
