Healthy Boy Grill
Healthy Boy Grill is a family owned restaurant that has been bringing healthy and nutritious food to Care Place since 2016. They offer bowls, wraps, pita pockets, burgers, and more. Healthy Boy Grill’s menu caters to pescatarians, meat-eaters, vegetarians, and they also have a few vegan options. Most of their vegan options are found in their açaí bowls and burgers.
The Pina Loca açaí bowl consisted of a delicious blend of açaí, almond milk, and banana, topped with granola, diced pineapple, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. Ever since I tried an açaí bowl for the first time in Boston, I have been in love since! And the one at Healthy Boy Grill did not disappoint. In comparison to other restaurants, the size of the bowl is smaller, but the quality of the food is just as high.
There was about three vegan/vegetarian burgers on the menu, and I decided to give the Beyond Bun Burger a try. This burger is made with a beyond meat patty, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and lots and lots of guacamole. Just the way I like it. Each burger is served with either a side salad or sweet potato fries. You also have the option of choosing whether your burger is made with a whole wheat, plain, or gluten-free bun. The burger was juicy and tender, and the bun was soft to the bite. My boyfriend ordered the Tropical Salmon Bowl which consisted of grilled salmon served on top of brown rice, sauteed broccoli, and tropical salsa, with a lemon honey sauce .
