Hey!

Welcome to my blog. I'm here to share with you all of my favorite places to eat. Hope you find the restaurant that's right for you!

The Cinnamon Snail- The Pennsy Food Hall

The Cinnamon Snail- The Pennsy Food Hall

My favorite place to grab vegan donuts is closing for good at the end of March 2020 due to the fact that the Pennsy Food Hall is closing their doors. The Cinnamon Snail is a vegan food truck and restaurant that offers sandwiches, burgers, and a wide variety of pastries. This laid back spot is ideally located by Penn Station in the Pennsy Food Hall and the food is served in a food court setting.

Lucky for you, they have a wide variety of donut flavors, so you will never get bored.  I ordered the s’mores donut, a cinnamon roll, and the earl grey chocolate donut. Everything was absolutely delicious, however, the s’mores donut was the winner. The donut was soft and had a chocolate center that was topped with four roasted marshmallows. The combination resulted in the donut melting in your mouth with each bite. Despite how sweet their pastries may look, they were actually not overbearing.

Not only do they serve amazing vegan pastries, but they also have some pretty massive vegan burgers and sandwiches. The Beastmode Burger Deluxe is made with an ancho chili seitan burger grilled in maple hickory BBQ sauce with jalapeño mac n cheese, arugula, smoked chili coconut bacon, and chipotle mayo on a grilled pretzel bun. If your mouth isn’t watering just from reading that, it definitely will once you try the burger! This is one of the best seasoned and most flavorful burger that I’ve had thus far. I love that even though it’s a hefty burger, it’s not greasy and doesn’t make you feel sluggish afterwards.

I am definitely sad to see The Cinnamon Snail go at the end of March, but fingers crossed they are able to come back in some shape or form. If you have the chance, definitely stop by their restaurant and grab as many pastries and burgers that you can.
