Sriracha House

Sriracha House is all about bringing Southeast Asian street food to Miami and making it healthy. There is indoor and outdoor dining available at this restaurant, but when I visited I chose to do takeout. The wait was never long, whether it be waiting to order or waiting for your food to be prepared, it all happened fairly fast. The fun feature at this restaurant is that you get to watch the chef cook the food right in front of you. Homeboy was getting it in the kitchen, wrist twistin' like a stir fry.

Now on to the food. My first thought when I opened the carton was "this is a lot of food." It was filled to the brim with shrimp, vegan chicken and vegetables. Honestly, it was probably enough food to share between two people if you really wanted to. My first bite was filled with an abundance of seasoning. Every bite had shrimp and vegan chicken.  You know how some places just stack a few pieces of meat on the top and then once you get to the middle there is barely any meat left? Not the case here. They definitely did not skimp me on the shrimp and vegan chicken. It was honestly the perfect balance of shrimp and veggies. I loved that the veggies were not soggy; they were very crunchy. The pineapples were so juicy and added so much flavor to the food. The Himalayan sauce complemented the food very well and added a spicy touch.

In regards to the spring roll, some Asian spots tend to give you rolls that are made with entirely too much flour or they don't give you enough food inside the rolls. These spring rolls were the perfect balance between crunch and softness, and were no where near flakey. The rolls had the prefect thin layer between you and your veggies, and the sauce that came with it was perfect! You definitely will not be disappointed by Sriracha House!
